Timeline

1970

Born in New York City at Lenox Hill Hospital on February 20, 1970.

December 18, 1992

I arrived home from work to be met at the door with the devastating news that my baby boy had been shot in the head. No one knew who or why.

December 19, 1992

Joseph passed away on December 19, 1992 at the age of 22.

December 24, 1992

My precious son was laid to rest this Christmas Eve.

1998

After five years, an arrest was made for the murder of Joseph.

1999

A conviction of the accused! A sentence of 23 years to life. My heart aches but a peace lies just under the ache.
